Sporting KC and LA Galaxy
A record-setting crowd of 20,512 saw Sporting Kansas City earn a 2-2 draw against the LA Galaxy on Monday at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, courtesy of Omar Bravo’s penalty kick in the second minute of second-half stoppage time. LA Galaxy defender Sean Franklin twice gave the visitors one-goal leads, first in the 25th minute and again in the 74th minute, but Julio Cesar’s volley and Bravo’s late penalty pulled Sporting KC within a game of the Columbus Crew for first place in the Eastern Conference with seven games remaining in Major League Soccer’s regular season. Beckham played the whole game and Dononvan appeared as a second halfsub.
